ERICKSON

     Wanda Kathleen Erickson, 83, former Centerville resident died Saturday April 14, 1990 in Renaissance Care Center, Yakima.
     She was born in Oakland, Oregon to Edward Marvin and Ida Ethel (Gray) Brooks and was raised and educated there. She graduated from Western Washington College of Education with a teacher's certificate in 1932 and married Elmer William Erickson August 30, 1932.
     Mrs. Erickson was a school teacher in the Goldendale School system for almost 30 years until her retirement. She was a former member of the Centerville Church of Christ in Centerville. She was a member of the Apple Valley Church of Christ in Yakima and Delta Kappa Gamma.
     Survivors include a son, Roger Erickson of Yakima, two grand-children, Stacey Kathleen Erickson and Mandi Marie Erickson both of Yakima.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Phyllis Matson and a brother, Donald Brooks.
     Funeral services were April 18 in the Centerville Church of Christ. Concluding services and burial followed and Centerville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to World Vision in care of Keith & Keith Funeral Home P.O. Box 2824, Yakima, Wash., 98707.

     YAKIMA - Wanda Kathleen Erickson, 83, Yakima, died Saturday April 14, 1990 in Renaissance Care Center, Yakima.
     Mrs. Erickson was born in Oakland, Ore. to Edward Marvin and Ida Ethel (Grey) Brooks and was raised and educated there. She was graduated from Western Washington College of Education with a teacher's certificate in 1932. She was married to Hilmer William Erickson on August 30, 1932.
     Mrs. Erickson was a schoolteacher in the Goldendale school system for almost thirty years until retirement. She was a former member of the Centerville Church of Christ in Centerville, WA. She was a member of the Apple Valley Church of Christ in Yakima and Delta Kappa Gamma.
     Survivors include a son, Roger Erickson of Yakima; two grand-children, Stacey Kathleen Erickson and Mandi Marie Erickson, both of Yakima.
     She was preceded in death by their parents, a sister, Phyllis Mattson and a brother, Donald Brooks.
     Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 1990 in the Centerville Church of Christ, Centerville, Wash. Concluding services and burial will follow in the Centerville Cemetery. If desired a memorials may be made to World Vision in care of Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
