MRS. HENRY LADIGES DIES

     Mrs. Henry Ladiges, Glenwood, passed away at Providence Hospital in Portland early Wednesday. Mrs. Ladiges passed away following a stroke according to word from Glenwood Wednesday. Mrs. Ladiges was transferred to Providence from Skyline Hospital Tuesday night by Gardner's ambulance.

MRS. HENRY LADIGES SR. DIES AT PORTLAND

     Mrs. Henry Ladiges, Sr., 63, of Glenwood, died suddenly Wednesday, September 24 in Portland. Cause of death was attributed to a heart attack. Funeral services were held in Glenwood Community Church Friday afternoon, Sept. 26 with S.S. Surface officiating. Burial was made in the Glenwood Grange cemetery. Pallbearers were Geo. Wellenbrock, Frank Leaton, Charles Holly, Osmar Kuhnhausen, Robert parrott and W.A. Martzall. Mrs. Ladiges was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. On Sept. 8, 1889, she was united in marriage to Henry Ladiges, Sr., and had lived in Glenwood since. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Shirley Moskal, Mrs. Julia James and Mrs. Bernice Diercks and one granddaughter, Judy, all of Portland. Stepchildren who survive are, Mrs. Melita Harvey of Portland, Mrs. Eleanor Abraham of Globe, Oregon; Arthur Ladiges, Osmar Ladiges, Mrs. Freeda Sherida, Henry Ladiges, Jr., all of Glenwood. The deceased was a member of the Glenwood Grange, American Legion Auxiliary, Cams Prairie and Vicinity Pioneer Association and the Glenwood Ladies Aid.

Services Friday, Sept. 26, 1:30 pm standard time, at the Presbyterian church, Glenwood, Wash. Interment Glenwood cemetery. Arrangements in care of the Little Chapel of the Chimes, 430 N. Killingsworth.
