WILLIS TEBBS
On Oct. 10, 2002, Willis L. Tebbs died at his home in Portland,
Ore.. He was 63.
He was born in Goldendale, on March 22, 1939, to Anna
L. (Thomson) and Cedric M. Tebbs. In 1960, Mr. Tebbs married Judy Ingram
and in 1973 the couple moved to Portland where they made their home.
Mr. Tebbs was a member of the Church of Christ. He earned
two master's degrees and worked as a professor of mathematics, teaching at
Cascade College and Warner Pacific College before retiring in 2000.
Mr. Tebbs is survived by his wife, Judy Tebbs, Portland;
daughter Sarah Tebbs, Portland; sister Shirlie Verley, Chehalis; and brother
Don Tebbs of Granite Bay, Calif.
Burial was private at the White Salmon Cemetery. A memorial
service for Mr. Tebbs was held at 2:30 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 19, 2002, at Lincoln
Memorial Park Funeral Home in Portland.
