WILLIAM BEEKS
William R. Beeks, Wishram, died Feb. 21, 2000, at Oregon
Health Sciences University in Portland from cancer, at the age of 50.
Mr. Beeks was born Nov. 16, 1949, in Goldendale. He attended
school in Glenwood. He joined the U.S. Army and was sent to Vietnam as a
combat soldier.
He was employed for many years by Burlington Northern
Railroad as a conductor.
Mr. Beeks is survived by his wife TJ Olson. Goldendale:
parents Calvin and Betty Beeks. Goldendale; daughter Holly Beeks, Goldendale;
sons Tracy Beeks, Portland. Ore., B Bandon and Josh Beeks, Glenwood; sister
Cathy Biber, Glenwood; brother Calvin Beeks Jr., Goldendale; grandchildren
Alaina and Devon Beeks, Goldendale; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews
and cousins.
He was preceded in death by son Eric in 1998.

William R. Beeks, 50, of Wishram, died of cancer Feb.
21, 2000 at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Ore.
He was born Nov.16, 1949 in Goldendale to Calvin and
Betty Beeks. William attended school in Glenwood. He joined the U.S. Army

His oldest son, Eric, preceded him in death in 1998.
Survivors include his wife, T.J. Olsen of Goldendale;
parents, Calvin and Betty Beeks of Goldendale; one daughter, Holly Beeks
of Goldendale; three sons, Tracy Beeks of Portland, Ore., Brandon and Josh
Beeks of Glenwood; a sister, Kathy Biber, of Glenwood; one brother, Calvin
Beeks Jr. of Goldendale; grandchildren, Alaina and Devon Beeks of Goldendale;
and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held February 26 at Goldendale
Church of Christ.
