WILLIAM LAUTERBACH
William R. Lauterbach, a resident of White Salmon all
of his life, died Sunday in Portland at the age of 81.
He was born May 14, 1899, in White Salmon to Mr. and
Mrs. Rudolph Lauterbach. He was a charter member of the Mt. Adams Elks and
a past master of the Masonic Temple. He worked as a butcher until his retirement.
Funeral services for Mr. Lauterbach will be held today
(Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Gardner Funeral Home. Interment will be in White
Salmon.
Survivors include one son, William R. Lauterbach Jr.,
Trout Lake; two daughters, Dorene Miland, Bingen, and Phyllis Dietsch, Pullman;
10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
