WIIDANEN
Wesley Richard Wiidanen, 61, died May 5 in Goldendale,
as a result of a heart attack. He was born in Goldendale, son of William
and Ida Marie Mattson Wiidanen.
He lived his entire life as a farmer on the old homestead
near Centerville. He was confirmed and baptized in Apostolic Lutheran church
at Centerville.
He was preceded in death by four brothers: Louis, Burton,
Albine, and Frank; and two sisters: Edna Simi and May Lucille look who died
as an infant.
He is survived by his brothers Merle and Francis Wiidanen
of Centerville; his nephew, William Simi of Goldendale and his niece, Vernice
Dove, of Centerville and numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were May 7 at Knosher Funeral Home with
Eldon Wiidanen officiating. Active pallbearers: where Ray Mattson, Ed Berry,
Alvin Randall, Harold Isaacon, Bill Olson and Arnold Hoikka.
Honorary pallbearers were: Otis Mattson, Ivan Mattson
and Virgil Anderson.
