GLENWOOD PIONEER DIES AT SKYLINE

     Mr. William T. Bolt, resident of Bingen, Wash. the past year and for many years a resident of Glenwood valley, passed away at Skyline Hospital on Nov. 15th.
     He was born Sept. 11th, 1895 in Carrol County, Virginia. On January 22, 1918 he was united in marriage to Lilivon O'Neil at Stevenson, Wash. Surviving are his wife, Lilivon of Bingen, Wash. and five daughters and two sons:
     Mrs. Paul (Mary) Ladiges of Laurel, Wash.; Mrs. Edwin (Helen) Eaton of Glenwood, Wash.; Mrs. William (Lilivon) Urquhart of Yakima, Wash.; Mrs. Charles (Lillian) Eaton of Wilmington, Calif.; Mrs. Eugene (Shirley) Burrill of Glenwood, Wash.; Mr. Roy Bolt of Portland, Oregon and Mr. William J. Bolt of Portland, Oregon.
     Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 18th 11 a.m. at Gardner's Funeral Chapel in White Salmon with the Rev. Mr. Palmer of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood, Washington.

DEATH SUMMONS W.M. (TYE) BOLT

     Funeral services for William T. (Tye) Bolt, 75, Bingen willbe held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18 at Gardners Chapel. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Adams Cemetery, Glenwood at 1 p.m., Rev. Alfred Palmer will officiate.
     Casket bearers will be Charles Holly, Osmar Kuhnhausen, Will Allbritton, Maurice Hathaway, George Wellenbrock and Max Ladiges, Sr.
     Mr. Bolt was born in Carrol County, Virginia on Sept. 11, 1885, the 4th of 12 children born to Mary and Caleb Bolt.
     At the age of 18 he came west, working at logging camps until he reached Dee, ore. He moved to Glenwood in 1909 and in 1913 operated a grocery store with the late A.G. Lewis but returned to logging.
     In Jan. 22, 1918 he was married to Lilivon ONeal. They lived in Glenwood until 1919 when they moved to their farm SW of Glenwood. On March 12, 1960 they moved to Bingen.
     Mr. Bolt died at Skylien hospital, White Salmon on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
     Survivors include his widow, Lilivon; five daughters, Mrs. Paul Ladiges (Mary), Mrs. Edwin Eaton (Helen), Mrs. Eugene Burril (Shirley), all of Glenwood; Mrs. Wm. Urquhart (Lily) of Yakima; Mrs. Charles Eaton (Lillian) of Long Beach, Calif.
     Also two sons, Roy and Jim of Portland, 15 grandchidlren, one great granddaughter; and two sisters, Nannie Harmon and Ruia Alderman; and four brothers, Martin, Ceaf and Ebb, all of Virginia, and George of St. Louis, Missouri.
