     William T. Pierce, resident of the Bald Mountain district, died at his home Monday evening from pneumonia. He was 67 years of age last March 23. Deceased leaves a widow and two daughters, besides a host of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held at a local church Tuesday afternoon, and burial was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
