RITES HELD FOR WM. W. SHULTZ
Services were held Sat. June 8, at 10 a.m. in Gardners
funeral home for William Watson Shultz, 71-year-old carpenter of White Salmon.
The Rev. Roger L. Clevenger officiated. Burial was in the Odd Fellows
cemetery.
Pall bearers were Sam Dallas, Jack McCoy, Walter Hill,
Sam Pullen, Earl McCoy and Leon Hilts.
Mr. Shultz was born June 6, 1886 at Rainier, Ore. and
died on his birthday last Thursday at Skyline hospital. He had been a resident
of this area since 1938. His wife, Eva, died Feb. 5, 1954.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Deane (Alma) Nichols
of White Salmon and Mrs. Norman Thornton of Long Beach, Calif; a son Ted
of Roseburg, Ore.; four grandchildren; a sister, Myrtle V. Wilson of Portland;
and brother, George A. Shultz, of Rainier, Ore.
The family suggests that friends wishing to make a memorial
contribution may send it to the Klickitat county Cancer Funds in care of
Mrs. E. C. Kaiser, Goldendale.
