PLANS LARGE TOWN OPPOSITE THE DALLES
L. H. Gray, president of the Citizens Trustee Company
of Seattle, who recently purchased extensive realty holdings of Leon Curtiss,
in Klickitat county, situated on the Columbia river opposite The Dalles,
has filed the largest plat for a townsite ever presented to the county
commissioners of Klickitat county.
The new town will be known as Granddalles, and is situated
north and west of the North Bank railroad station of the same name. The plat,
which was approved by the commissioners and filed with the county auditor,
contains 1451 lots.
