LOUIS W. MEYER SERVICES HELD
Louis W. Meyer, a resident of White Salmon for 67 years,
died at Skyline Hospital on April 9, 1966. He was born at Jordan, Minn.,
on Dec. 4, 1893 and remained a bachelor all of his life.
Mr. Meyer is survived by: a sister, Mrs. Minnie Sutton
of Fontana, Calif.; a nephew, Eugene Sutton of Eureka, Calif; and a niece,
Mrs. Walter Schmid of Trout Lake, Wash.
Graveside services were held in Trout Lake on Wednesday
morning, April 13, at 11 o'clock. Rev. Roger Clevenger officiated.

DEATH SUMMONS VALLEY PIONEER
Louis W. Meyer died April 9, 1966 at Skyline Hospital
after a long illness. He had been a patient at Skyline Nursing home the past
four years.
He was born at Jordan, Minn. Dec. 4, 1892 and was 72
years and four months when he died.
Mr. Meyer came west to Trout Lake Valley with his parents
in 1897 and except for his army service during WWI, had lived at Trout Lake
and White Salmon until his death.
One sister, Mrs. Minnie Sutton of Fontana, Calif. survives
him; also a niece, Mrs. Walter Schmid of Trout Lake.
Graveside services were held Wednesday,
April 13, at 11 a.m. He was buried in the family plot at Trout Lake Cemetery.
