"Goldendale"
The grange people have undertaken the proposition of moving the old Blockhouse logs, now stored at Goldendale, and will erect the same in a suitable manner at the city park near the reservoir site. One party has offered a quantity of lumber to repair the same, and another will donate $25.00. The old building once stood, for some 50 years out in the Spring Creek section, but the land was needed and it had to be removed. So attorneys Presby and Ward, and some others brought it to Goldendale at their own expense. The city is willing to help, and favors the site chosen, so there is no reason why it should not be rebuilt. We understand from one of the leading members of the grange, that in a few days a paper will be circulated to raise some money for the purpose, and also to put the grounds in suitable shape for picnic purposes.
