FOUR WILL GRADUATE AT TROUT LAKE
TROUT LAKE, Wn., May 18: -- The seniors sneaked out last Monday and held a
picnic at Goose Lake. Later they drove to White Salmon to the show. Those
graduating this year are Rose Burkell, Olen Aerni, Helen Schmid, Leonard Borigo.
Their play, “Let Toby Do It”, last Saturday evening, was well enjoyed by a large
crowd. Miss Mary Alice Wood and David Aerni sang “I’ll Be Faithful”, Mildred
Marsh gave a tap dance, Miss Enid Frey and Claudia Collingwood saying “Hollyhock
Lane”, for features in between acts of the play.
Baccalaureate services will be held Sunday evening at the church.

DIPLOMAS AWARDED TO FOUR AT TROUT LAKE THURSDAY
TROUT LAKE, Wash., May 22: -- The baccalaureate services were held at the church
Sunday evening for the 1934 graduating class. Those graduating are Rose Burkell,
Helen Schmid, Leonard Borigo and Olen Aerni. Rev. Good delivered the address
for the evening, his topic being “Rightful Possessions.” Special music by the
choir and the men's quartet.
The decorations were pink and white, the class colors. Large
clusters of plumy white blooms from the squaw grass and avalanche lilies from
Cultus creek formed a bank at the front of the altar and platform. A large
crowd attended.
