COMMENCEMENT AT TROUT LAKE TO BE HELD JUNE 1

TROUT LAKE, May 24: -- (Special) Interest is centered upon the school in these the closing days of the year; in Trout Lake seven seniors will graduate from high school and on Thursday evening,  June 1 they will receive their diplomas at the commencement exercises at the Trout Lake school gymnasium building.
            Atwood Babbitt will be valedictorian; Georgene Pearson, salutatorian; Dr. J. W. McPherson, assistant superintendent, state department of education, will give the commencement address.
            The graduates are: Atwood Babbitt, Georgene Pearson, Lloyd Caryl, Jack Crawford, Robert Pearson, Forrest Schmid, and Nedra Borigo; class colors, blue and silver; flower, coronation; motto, “Beginning, not ending.”
            Five young people will finish the eighth grade and have a part in the graduating exercises; these are: Patricia Schmid, Jean Wang, Robert Cole, Nancy Pearson and Arlene Peterson.
