14 TO GRADUATE AT TROUT LAKE
TROUT LAKE May 15 – (Special) The baccalaureate service for the graduating class
of Trout Lake high school will be held on Sunday, May 25th, at 11 A.M., in the
Trout Lake Church. Miss Idella Ferguson will give the address. Music will be
furnished by the girls’ glee club under the direction of Miss Just.
Fourteen seniors, five girls and nine boys, will receive the high
school diplomas at the commencement exercises slated for Wednesday evening, May
28, at the school gym. Miss Evelyn Petersen is the class valedictorian, and
Miss Anne May Beeks salutatorian.
Speaker for the evening will be announced in a later issue.

FOURTEEN SENIORS GRADUATE AT
TROUT LAKE
On May 28. Rev. O.J. Gill, of The Dalles, To Give Address
Graduation exercises will be held at the Trout Lake auditorium on May 28 at 8
P.M. Rev. O. J. Gill, of The Dalles, has been chosen as the commencement
speaker. Class speakers are Evelyn Petersen, valedictorian; Anne Mae Beeks,
salutatorian. Following is a list of graduates: Donald Cole, Gilbert Crawford,
Cecil Deming, Virgil Miller, Willard Wang, Melvin Wilson, Carl Weinbarger, David
Woodruff, Donald Wright, Anna Mae Beeks, Thelma Burbank, Evelyn Petersen,
Geraldine Stephens and Donna Stewart.
Eighth grade graduates are as follows: Stanley Fergin, Robert
McNeel, Larry Wilson, George Langfield, Melvin Brumbaugh, Clarence Wright, Bill
Wotton, Delbert Schmid, Walter Wang, Earnest Robbins, Vesta Schmid, Ethel
Tippery, Rose Stephens, Virginia Rose and Shirley Quackenbush.
The teachers are as follows: Mr. R. H. Fergin, Superintendent high
school; Miss Just and Miss Sundberg. Grade, Mr. Rex Thomason, Mrs. Madeleine
Pearson and Miss Ruby Gunkel.
Baccalaureate service will be at the Trout Lake school Sunday, May
25th at 11 A.M. Miss Idella Ferguson will be the speaker.

TROUT LAKE WILL GRADUATE FOURTEEN
Trout Lake high school will hold commencement exercises for its graduating class
of 14 seniors next Wednesday evening, May 28. The baccalaureate service for the
Trout Lake graduating class will be held this Sunday, May 25. Music for the
occasion will be furnished by the girls glee club under the direction of Miss
Evangeline Just.
Evelyn Petersen is valedictorian of this year's class. The
salutatorian is Anne Mae Beeks. The senior class includes five girls and nine
boys.
