TROUT LAKE HI HELD COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES TUESDAY
The
annual commencement exercises of the Trout Lake high school were held Tuesday
evening, May 26, at the high school gymnasium, according to Principal R.H.
Fergin.
The class of seven graduates was as follows: Erma Pearson, Dorothy
Winebarger, Margaret Wotton, three girls; and John Hoffman, Rex Langfield,
Wilbur Marsh and Robert Utterback, four boys.
The program was as follows:
1. Processional, Pomp and Chivalry, orchestra.
2. Sailor’s Hornpipe, E. Delamater, orchestra.
3. Invocation, Rev. E. B. Thomas.
4. Salutatory, Miss Erma Pearson.
5. Pastorale, Liszt, Glee club.
6. On the Lagoon, Brahms, Glee club.
7. Valedictory, Miss Margaret Wotton.
8. Address, “Know How,” by Dr. James Millar, executive secretary of the Oregon-Washington Synod of the Presbyterian church, of Portland.
9. Presentation of class, R.H. Fergin, principal.
10. Presentation of diplomas, Fred Winebarger, chairman school board of directors.
11. Recessional, orchestra.
