Camp registered 13 in the 5th grade and 12 in the 6th grade.  James I. Coder reported 20 in the 7th grade and 7 in the 8th grade.  Mr. Coder is a graduate of CWCE and taught at Wishkah Valley last year.
Forty-three students registered in the high school with 13 in the 9th grade, 14 in the 10th grade, 8 in the 11th grade and 8 in the 12th grade.
Mrs. Genevieve H. Haller, school librarian, has returned after a busy summer of travel.  New to the Trout Lake staff this year will be Mrs. Dorothy Aumann, graduate of the University of Washington; Mrs. Virginia Zimmerman, graduate also of the U of W, with a B.S. degree in mathematics; and Joe M. Cowling, graduate of Alabama Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. degree in physical education.  Each of the women teachers Tuesday morning found on her desk a bouquet of flowers and a note of welcome from the school board.
Palmer Wang, school custodian, had the building in fine condition for the starting day.  Not only were the floors glistening, but new steel lockers had been installed for all students, grades 1 through 12.
