The commencement exercises of the T.L. school Thursday evening were very enjoyable to all who attended. The talks of the three girls, Sylvia Johnson as a valedictorian and Nancy Brown and Sheila Madison as co-salutatorians were given in pleasing ways. The speaker Louis Blum of the State Educational Dept. gave a talk that evening the children could understand and enjoy. Sylvia Johnson received the $100 award given by the PTA at the beginning of her second semester at college and Sheila Madison received the Betty Crocker award.
