Patricia Ann Schmid
Valedictorian

GPA of 3.5.

Accomplishments: Girls State Representative 1966; President of Senior Class of 1967; J.C. Penney Award and grant to State 4-H Conference 1967; National Math Contest winner 1967; Girls League Treasurer 1966; “A” Volleyball letter 1967.
            Plans to attend University of Washington to become a registered nurse.
            4H member for nine years.  Active in church and school.  Enjoy sewing and knitting.

Dee F. Duke
Co-Salutatorian

GPA 3.1.

Accomplishment: “A” letter and track; “A” letter in cross country; a delegate to Junior Science and Humanities Symposium in Seattle.
            Plans to go to Cascade College for two years for Science and Math background before going to a state college to study Oceanography.
            Enjoy sports and church work.

Cathy Ann Stamy
Co-Salutatorian

Accomplishments: Miss Trout Lake for local Huckleberry Festival; President of Girls League; Secretary of Senior Class; participant in Music in May; “A” letters in cheerleading and track; Junior Class president in 1965 - 1966.
            Plans to go to Central Washington State College to study to become a high school English teacher.
            Active in church work and school and sports events.  Enjoys music (piano and vocal); reading.

PAT SCHMID, D. DUKE, CATHY STAMY ARE HONOR STUDENTS AT TROUT LAKE

Patricia Schmid was named valedictorian at Trout Lake High School and Dee Duke and Cathy Stamy were named co-salutatorians.  Graduation exercises were held there May 25.
            Miss Schmid had a grade point average of 3.5.  Other accomplishments included attending Girls State, serving as senior class president, winning a J.C. Penney award and grant to the State 4-H Conference, National Math contest winner in 1967 and being a 4-H member for nine years.  She plans to attend the University of Washington and become a registered nurse.
            Dee Duke and Miss Stamy had grade point averages of 3.1.  Duke was a letterman in track and cross country and a delegate to the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium in Seattle.  He plans to go to Cascade College for two years before going to a state school to study oceanography.
            Miss Stamy was president of the Girls’ League, secretary of her Senior class … can’t read text... She plans to attend Central Washington State College and hopes to teach high school English.
