ROBERT STAHLEY BANKS
 Robert Sthaley Banks of 131 East Crawford Avenue, Altoona, died at his home Thursday evening, Feb. 22, 1940, at 6:45 o'clock.
He was born at Mapleton, Huntingdon county, March 27, 1875, the son of David and Mary Parker Banks.
His wife, Laura Banks, died May 25, 1935.
Members of the family include one daughter,  Mrs. Raymond  Hilkirk, of Sharon, Pa., two sons David and Walter, both of Altoona, three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Jenkins of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. William Foly of Dairy, Ind., and Mrs. Chester Bowles, of Juniata, and four grandchildren.
He was a retired car repairman of the tank shop and was a member of the Second United Brethren Church of Altoona, the Pennsylvania Railroad relief and the Macabees of Altoona.
