THORNTON---Memory W. THORNTON was sometimes referred to as M. W. or Washington. He was born in Georgia about 1805. He moved his family to Chambers County, Alabama by 1840. During September, 1843, he was licensed to preach by the Bethesda (Flint Hill) Baptist Church in Chambers County. He had moved to Macon County, Alabama, by 1848. He married Amanda Johnston during 1855 in Macon County and remained there through 1857. He was deceased by 1863. Traywick (Traweek)---I am looking for Vashti M Traywick (Trayweek, Traweek). She was born 21 June 1836- Fayette, New River, Ala. Lived with Wm. B. and Manerva Winter and James H. and Ann Walsh during her teen years. Married Henry Carter McCollum in Tuscaloosa 22 (or 27) March 1853. Later moved to Valley View, Tx. TURNER, TAYLOR, ROBERTSON---Irvin TURNER, b. 1912 or 1914 Escambia County, d. 1989 Stockton, CA. Father: Sam TURNER. Irvin's wife: Margaret TAYLOR, b. 1912 or 1914 Butler County. Parents: John TAYLOR, Anne ROBERTSON. Irvin and Margaret moved to Oregon in the 1930's, raised 4 children, and died in California. Irvin had several brothers, including Burt, Chester, and Gus who stayed near Flomaton until death. Sister Eva, died in 1980's in Flagstaff Arizona.
