Dewberry--I have much Dewberry information from 1846 beginning in Tallapoosa Co. to present. I also have from 1667 to 1830 Dewberry genelogies but have a gray area from 1830 to 1846. I am trying to seach a theory that they stopped off in Chambers Co. as they migrated from Monroe Co. Ga to Nesite, Tallapoosa Co., Al. I am having difficulties with this era of Dewberry history. DILLIARD--I am looking for info on a Methodist Minister, Lunsford L. DILLIARD that lived there with his family (wife, Eleanor) in Pickens Co, ALA in July 1838. Their son, Felix (Phelix)G. DILLIARD was born there then. They lived here only a short time and then moved back to Bedford Co, TN (where they had originally lived) and then on to TX. If anyone can give me info on this family, I would really appreciate it.......It might be that they moved to AL when there was Indian trouble in TN. Dunaway, Dunnaway, Haynes--I am looking for information about my Grand parents. His name was George Washington Dunnaway later changed to Dunaway. He was born in Ga and had at least one wife in Ga. Moved to Calhoun County Ala. and married my Grandmother, Tisha Haynes. They had 6 children.. Clinton, Jack, Alby, Thomas, Sally and Woodrow Wilson Sr. All born in Calhoun Co. in the early 1900's.
