First wife's name unknown I know of one daughter they had Mary (middlename) unknown-FENDLEY, Later she married a W.W.Aldridge. The Second Wife: Georgia Lee HOLLIDAY-Birthdate January 8,1877-born in or around Butler County Alabama or in the area. She and John Walter had the following children in Alabama: George Walter FENDLEY, Date of Birth October 1, 1908: Twins: Marcus I.(Pete) Fendley & J.E. (Ernest) FENDLEY born March5, 1910; and Homer (Clarance) Fendley Born January 8, 1911. then the family moved to Ellinger,Texas then on to FFt.Bend County Richmond,Texas. Another set of Twins were born in Ellinger,Tx - Earl (Red) and Merel FENDLEY on March 29, 1913, then either Born in Ellinger or Richmond was Anita Elizabeth FENDLEY born either in 1918,9,20,0r 21. In the Morton Cemetery in Richmond,Texas there is a marker on a grave Joseph E. FENDLEY Born March 5, 1910, not sure who the child belong to. Could be the son of M.I. (Marcus ) FENDLEY Born July 30,1888- Passed away May 23,1941. ( I presume in Alabama) married a Louise ( last name unknown anything about her is unknown.) I would like to know of someone in Alabama that is kin to the family to get in contact with me. I am trying to do a research paper and I am running to dead ends. Also I remember that at one time my daddy tell me that the last name FENDLEY spelling could have been change. Foster, Long--FOSTER, William Cicero married Molly Long lived and died in Georgiana, Alabama. FOSTER--I am searching for the family of Alexander Foster. He was born in 1812, in South Carolina, Married June 18, 1840 in Chambers County, Al., to Elizabeth Bledsoe, who was born in Edgefield, South Carolina. They had 6 children. I am looking for marriage certificate, land records, and death certificates. On Elizabeth side, her father is buried in Antioch Cem, Lafayette, Chambers Co. I was hoping that maybe there were some records, such as deeds and wills. Alexander is listed on the 1850 census as head of household, but Elizabeth is listed as head of household in 1860. FRANKLIN--Littleberry Franklin was my ggggrandfather. He was born in S.C. around 1779 or 1774, the son of Benjamin Franklin,(a farmer in S.C.) who was possibly the son of one of the Thomas Franklins in the area. Before 1833 Berry married Martha Hester, and they moved to Alabama, where both died. Where did they die, and where are they buried? Who are their descendants? Will appreciare any help.
