Fannie was born May 3,1880 in Marion Co. she married William Arnold WEBB of Cherokee Co. Alabama. Williams parents were William and Mary. Brothers Sam,John,Hubert and Cecil. GIBSON TERRY--John GIBSON b. 1824, died 12-17-1899. parents were Judge Charles (born in Ga) and Clarisa (born in NC) GIBSON who lived in Lawrence County from before the 1830 census until at least 1858. John went to Cass County, Texas before the 1850 census where he fathered my great grandmother Barrie Gibson TERRY (1878-1928). I am looking for any information on John, Charles or Clarisa including when they moved to Lawrence County, Clarisa's maiden name, and any personal information available. Gibson, Gaunnon--Information needed on ancestors of William H.C. Gibson and his wife Sarah Gaunnon(not sure of spelling). They were married 18 February, 1858 in Barbour Co. Their daughter, Mary Emma, was born in Clayton, AL 01 October 1860. Mary Emma Gibson married Judson Peter Goodwin 23 July, 1885 and settled in Moorefield, Independence Co., Arkansas. GIBSON--John and Sarah Russel Gibson, around 1800 or earlier. I am searching for genealogies before and leading up to the John Gibson, Sarah Russel Gibson line. John and Sarah had a son James Witherspoon Gibson, married to Mary "Polly" Day. James Witherspoon Gibson and Mary "Polly" Day Gibson had a son John "Bawley" Bird Gibson, married to Emily "Sophie" Reeves. John "Bawley" Bird Gibson and Emily "Sophie" Reeves Gibson had a son Avery Witherspoon, who married Serepti (?). Avery Witherspoon and Serepti lived in the Mt Nebo community in the southwest corner of Morgan County Alabama. They were my Greatgrandparents. GLENN--My ancestor, JAMES F. (FRANCES ?) GLENN, b: 1815, Laurens Co., SC, m: Mary Jane Mitchell, in 1846, Laurens Co. Mary was wife #2. Am trying to find out who wife #1 was, but most of all, WHO ARE THE PARENTS OF JAMES F. GLENN? He was in Laurens Co. for the 1850 census, but by 1860 had moved to Marion Co., AL. James died during the Civil War, but he left his wife and surviving children in Marion Co. (Supposedly James' family went to SC from PA.) James' children were: William, James H., David, Ensley Houston, Russell Pelham, and Mary Jane. Some researchers say he had a son named Mathew Hasten, but I do not agree. GORDON--I am trying to find where James A. Gordon was born or lived in AL. He was born there about 1829 and was in Cherokee County, TX by 1850. His mother's name was Mary b c 1786 in VA or TN (There seems to be a discrepancy on the Census Records). It appears that he had a sister named Mary Gordon b c 1830 in AL. I would like to find the name of James' father or any other information on this Gordon family. GRIFFIN--General GRIFFIN came to this counry form Ireland after the American Revolutionary War. His son Thomas GRIFFIN was born in North Carolina in l803. He married Nancy STEWART . He moved his family in the 1830's . He is listed on the Henry County Alabama 1850 census His son Dempsey GRIFFIN, was born in Henry County in l937 and married Eliza Jane CLENNY. Gunn--Looking for contact with any GUNNS with Tuscaloosa County connections, particularly descendants of Samuel GUNN(1783-1849). Samuel was born in Brunswick County, Va., and was the oldest son of William Gunn, Jr.(1757-1775). He was married to Lucy and moved to Tuscaloosa County from Rutherford County, Tennessee, before 1830.
