Jennings--Help! I just came across a poorly photo-copied picture of a group of Confederate veterans (circa 1900, about 33 veterans in 2 rows, 1st row kneeling and 2nd row standing) from Calhoun and Cherokee county entitled "Shades of Civil War Days." My great great grandfather John Wesley JENNINGS (of Rockrun, Cherokee County) is in the front row! I don't know where the picture came from, but believe it might have been a newspaper or magazine published somewhere near Piedmont. Does anyone know where this picture came from so I can get a better copy? Other veterans in the picture were from Rock Run, Spring Garden, Centre, Goshen Valley, and Mount Zion. Any clues would be much appreciated. For more information, contact John A. Roberts at jroberts@camber.com or at 102 Pam Circle Madison, Alabama 35758.
