Found family in 1860 Pickens County Census: Climentine 49 ca 1811 pob SC;Eliza 16 pob Alabama; Mildred 14 pob Alabama; Laura 12 pob Alabama; Curtis 12 pob Alabama. There is also an older son named Richard who had children named Jack and Lynn who lived later in Mississippi. Have been unable to find father of Curtis/Husband of Climentine. There may possibly be a connection of this family with Richard Taliaferro who was a Captain during Revolutionary War. He died South Carolina. Climentine born South Carolina. The wife of Richard Taliaferro (Captain Rev. War) was Mildred who resided in Pickens County, Alabama June 1, 1840, aged 78. Clementine has daughter named Mildred. TANNEHILL--I am trying to find ancestors of George Tannehill. He was said to have been part Native-American from Alabama. He married Nancy McCarty and lived in Jonesboro (Craighead Co.) Ark., before going on to Oklahoma Territory where he died supposedly around 1890. After his death widow and children moved back to J'sboro Ark. Any information would be gratefully appreciated. THOMAS--I need help locating my Grandfather Rudolph THOMAS. His brother's name is Pert THOMAS and is married to Willie May. They are all from Calhoun Co., Alabama.
