Waller, Staples---Looking for information on James Thomas WALLER, born in Alabama ?August, 1863. He married Ophelia Vandral STAPLES, born in Alabama August 3, 1863. BAILEY/BRIMER---Hello, I am looking for my g.g.grandfather. His name was Bolden Green BAILEY and he was born in Alabama in 1859. I believe that he would be listed as a small child in the 1860 census, but I have not been able to locate him. At some point he moved to Arkansas where he married (1878) and settled down. AS the farm seems to met the geographic place of the coming to gether of these four counties??. So, we are at a loss to know where to search for the probate or will of Jonathan DODD or his wife Loucendia DODD. Jonathan DOD had children, William DODD, Henry DODD, Ashley haywood DODD, James Riley DODD, all listed as PLANTERS. Younger son, Isaac M. DODD and Dougal DODD were lost in time. Cain, Wheeler,Sizemore---I am looking for info on my gt grandfather born either John wM Cain or WM J (Jonathan) J Cain Gwinnett GA 1866 m- Vina Rose Sizemore 6-29-1884 Gwinnett GA. They lived back and forth in GA and AL. I found them on 1900 census in Lawerenceville Wolfsprings County, AL with their 7 living children. Some were born in AL and some in GA. I have my Sizemore line identified. But lack solid info on him and his family. I think he may be the son of Cicero Cain and Mary wheeler Cain. I found Vina R Sizemore age 14 with the right family members and names, etc. I scanned neighbors and found Cicero and Mary Cain. I saw a son John WM Cain age 14 b- 1866 Gwinnett GA. I also know that Cicero and Mary are buried in Cleburne AL cemetery. The Wheelers are also found in AL and GA. I know that these two families moved back a nd forth a few times from Gwinnett GA to Cleburen AL areas. I need help linking up my gt grandfather to his right family and to be able to verify he's the right one that married my gt grandmother. Mcbride,Mcarthur,English,Faircloth,Solomon---The only Mcarthur name I have is my G Grandmother Martha Ann Mcarthur she married Thomas Andrew Mcbride. My g grandparents along with most of the children moved I think from Ms then to Al. and on to Pensacola fl. where they died. Some of the children remained in alabama. They may have had most of their children in Hattisburg Ms or near by, my grandmother the 10th. child of 12, was born 1904 Hattisburg. Howe---My grandmother, Effie Eunice Howe, was born 19 Jan 1889. I've been told that she was from somewhere in Ala. She had a brother by the name of Andrew Howe, who also lived in the area for a period of time. I know nothing about her family other than this. I am trying to find out anything I can re. her family. She eventually married a Rev. Andrew "Andy" Jackson Tant, and I was told that their first three children were born in Ala., before moving to SC, where he preached at various churches before his death. She died in Apr 1972, in Easley, SC. I appreciate any help that you can give on this. Taylor, Pickett, Young--- I am searching for the Grandmother Rebecca Young and her children, Jessee, Major,Dallas, Asalene. GGrandmother remarried several times they moved to Talladega, Alabama in the early 1920's. I saw her two sons Jessie and Dallas during the 50's with no further information on or about them since. Moved from Worth County, Ga. Daughter to Mr. Major and Phillis Pickett of Colquitt County Ga. later residing in Worth County. Left behind four children Rosetta, Laura,Jessie,Major was later reunited with Major and Jessie. Lost touch with Laura who lived and died in N.Y and Rosetta who lived and died in Mitchell County,Ga. Chunn---I am trying to find out the first name of the Chunn listed in the 1850 Alabama Census for Sumter Co. This is the only site that has a Chunn listed. Beauchamp, Bradley---My ancestors were Beauchamps and Bradleys. They lived in Henry and Barbour Counties in the early 1800s.
