FARLEY, Pleasant (born 05 Sep 1843 in Montavallo, AL) was the son of Farley, William (born abt 1818). I'm trying to locate William's parents who possibly may have been Priscilla and Matthew Farley of Shelby County. FARMER, Demsey D.(bef 1825) and Morning Elvira WILLIAMS m. bef 1845.Apparently Demsey made many trips by wagon train from the Greene Co. area and Arkansas between the end of the Civil War and 1876. His father was the blacksmith and Col. W.B.Jordan was the wagon master. FITTS/Henry B. and Ida B. Ford. Married in Morgan Co. Feb 1902. Three sons, Howard, born 1904, James Born 1906, and William born 1908. My father, James ran away from home between 1916 and 1918. He changed his name to Reed and was never found. I am looking for decendents of Howard and William. Also the Ford family. There were several living in Decatur, 1900. Family included John S. Next door is a Caroline FRANKLIN age 30, b. in AL. Also in the 1850 census, but in Jackson Co. is an Esom FRANKLIN, age 46, b. TN and wife Thinsa(?) age 36, b. in TN. FRAZIER, Samuel L., my end of the line great grandfather. His death certificate states he was born in 'Alabama' in 1851 on or about March 2nd. He came to Texas at some point in time (believe after Civil War) and resided in Milam County Texas most of his life. Died in Milam County Sept. 2, 1920. His wife was Mary Pouncey Frazier. FULTON--Can anyone please help with info regarding my Greene County ancestors? The 1860 census has Josiah Osgood FULTON, age 51, and wife, Sarah E. FULTON, age 35 with 8 children, ages 1-10. They married +- 1846. I am looking for background on her, Sarah Emmaline LEWIS, born in AL in 1825. Her siblings were sisters Lucendie (who married a HIGSON), Elizabeth Jane (who married Dr. W. H. MEADOR and moved to Clark County, AR), Angeline (who married Jackson CRAWFORD), Amarynthia (who married a HIGSON), and brother, Greene. Sarah Emmaline died ca. 1869 leaving orphans Emma Jane, Fannie Josephine, and Ida A. FULTON, who entered the Presbyterian Children's Home in Tuskegee (now in Talledega) that year.
