Martha Jane STEWART was born Aug. 12, 1870 in Marengo Co., AL, married John Bell PARTEN in January, 1891, and died in FL in 1954. Her father was William Archie STEWART, who was born in 1829 in Marengo Co and died there about 1900., married Jannett KREELE. I can't find Ausmin on any census in NC or Al. Might be I don't know how or where to look. Ausmin and Mary had 1 more son listed on the 1900 census as P. G. b May 1872 in Fla. his wife Margaret J. and son Joseph Ausmin b March 1900. I have also found Cemetery records in Al where Joseph Ausmin was born March 3, 1900 and died April 22, 1901. GOODOWENS--I am interested in any information about the GOODOWENS family that resided in Cottonton, AL (Russell County). Most of the family are buried in the town's Baptist Church cemetery. My father, Lewis GOODOWENS is buried there with his parents and siblings. Most of them died well before I was born and would like any information about them.
