JACKSON, BENNETT--JACKSON-Truman Lawrence Jackson born March 20, 1846 in Westford, VT. He married Sarah Effie BENNETT on March 30, 1875 in Vermont. At the time of the US Census in 1880 they were living in Colorado. Truman died Oct. 5, 1888 in Birmingham, AL. Looking for information re: their deaths or place of burial. JACOBS, ELLENBURG, SCROGGINS, BARNES--Searching for info on JACOBS,James Martin married to SCROGGINS, Ella both died young in life and left four sons to be raised by the SCROGGINS grandparents. I have info on the sons but none on the parents James and Ella. Probably buried in Coffee co. or around Florala. All surnames listed lived at one time or another in Coffee Co. James Martin JACOBS may have died around 1907 from a gunshot wound to the shoulder, this may have happened in Florala. Ella SCROGGINS his wife probably died around 1904 of yellow fever. JEMISON--Would like info on the parents' of Jesse JEMISON, Sr. born in AL in 1853. I find him, his wife, and his children listed in the 1900 AL Census for Mobile Co.(Heron Bay Precinct). JOHNSON, BROWN--Looking for any information on my great grandparents, Joseph Abner JOHNSON, born ca 1837 and Mary Undine BROWN, born around 1838, both in Alabama, but I don't know where. I can't seem to find them on any census until 1860 when they appear as a young married coupled on the 1860 Neshoba Co., MS census with one child - my grandfather, John Randel JOHNSON, 1 year old. I don't know who their parents were, where they came from originally or when they came to Mississippi or where they were married even. Can someone help me out here.
