ODEN--I am looking for descendants of my great-great-grandparents John P Oden (b.September 11, 1824 in Talladega or Talladega County, Alabama) and Nancy Jane BASKIN (b. February 21,1829 in Alabama). My great-grandfather Thomas J Oden was born August 17, 1859 in Talladega County. They moved to Lindale, Texas area after the Civil War. OGBURN--Looking for any information regarding my gggrandfather Thomas L. OGBURN in this ALABAMA QUERY, b.1806 in S.C. and later moved to Alabama. Know he was in Talladega Co., Alabama in 1850. M.1) Catherine Evans, m.2) Ann Butler. Died in 1883, buried in Fort Smith, Ark. Need to know where he died and any information regarding his parents. OLDHAM--Calvin & Ephraim OLDHAM are listed in the 1860 census of Bibb Co. I believe they were brothers, but need proof. Calvin enlisted with the 44th AL Infantry and according to the muster rolls, he was killed at Ft. Harrison (what state?). He left a wife, Mary, and six children. I need Mary's maiden name. Mary, the children and Ephraim's family joined a wagontrain headed west c1865. Would love to correspond with anyone who has information on this wagon train.
