The Plainfield Meeting House

Planifield, located in northeastern New Jersey in Union County, was founded by Quakers in 1684. The city is south of the Watchung Mountains. Both Wesley Roll, 1801-1855, and his wife Anne Smith Roll, 1802-1872, are buried at the Friends Burial Ground, Plainfield, Union County, New Jersey. Wesley (spelled Vesley Roll on the cemetery map) is buried in Plot #283 located in Row I. Anne (spelled Anna on the grave stone) is buried in Plot #284 in Row I.
