| Notes for Stephen MERCER |
| "Stephen and Catherine were married by Asabel Tyler, Justice of the Peace. The marriage license application was made by Samuel L. Eatinger, a brother-in-law of Stephen. The Book, 'The History of Putnam County,' by George Kinder, 1915, states that Stephen moved to Providence Twp., across from Grand Rapids, OH on the Maumee River, where he lived until his death."65 |
