Edward F. Yelton, age 64 was listed as the head of a household in the 1930 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky. The household also included his wife, Ollie Yelton, age 55.⁷ From his obituary:
Mr. Yelton was one of the oldest members of Enterprise Lodge No.
123, I.O.O.F., Butler. He took an active interest in his lodge as long as
health permitted. On July 1, 1907, Mr. Yelton was elected noble grand
officer of the lodge.

Mr. Yelton served as postmaster at Butler for about 12 years. He was
appointed to this office under the administration of the late President
Woodrow Wilson. During World War I Mr. Yelton took an active interest
in many bond drives and civic affairs. He conducted his post office in a
first-class manner. With his passing Butler has lost a good citizen.⁴

     Frank H. Yelton was born in 1874 in Campbell County, Kentucky.² He was the son of John William Yelton and Cordelia Clemmons.¹

Frank H. Yelton died between 1913 and 1933 He survived his brother, but predeceased his father.^3,1 He never married.¹

Rena Yelton married William Edward Mashburn on 30 August 1905 in Kenton County, Kentucky.⁴ In 1932 Rena Yelton lived in Chihauhau.² At the time of her death, Rena Yelton resided at in San Francisco del Oro.¹

Rena Yelton died on 27 June 1939 at Providence Hospital, El Paso, Texas.¹
