     Elizabeth Agnes (Yelton) Kern died on 10 November 1927 in Muncie, Indiana, at age 75 of injuries received in an automobile accident. She was survived by her husband, Joseph E. Kern.7

Joseph E. Kerns, age 45 was enumerated as the head of a household in the 1900 Census of Delaware County, Indiana. Other family members included his wife, Agnes E. Kerns, age 47, his sons, Walter E. Kerns, age 19, Haden A. Kerns, age 17 and Jacob Kerns, age 11.7 In 1927 Joseph E. Kern and Agnes Kern lived in Cowan, Delaware County, Indiana.8 Joseph survived the death of his wife, Elizabeth Agnes (Yelton) Kern on 10 November 1927.8
