     Harry Howard Yelton was born on 16 February 1872 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.^1,2 He was the son of Benjamin E. Yelton and Sarah Moreland.^1,2 Harrie Yelton, age 8 was listed as a son of Benjamin E. Yelton, age 42, in the 1880 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹

Harry Howard Yelton married Lula Yelton, daughter of William Samuel Holton Yelton M.D. and Carrie Cubberly, on 20 June 1899 in Kenton County, Kentucky.^3,4 H. H. Yelton, age 34 was listed as the son-in-law of William H. Yelton, age 65 in the 1910 Census of Butler, Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁵ In 1910 Harry Howard Yelton was a railway mail clerk.⁵ Harry Howard Yelton was a railway mail clerk for 38 1/2 years.⁶ Harry raised beautiful flowers, especially dahlias. He was a member of the Butler Christian Church and Bostwick Masonic Lodge No. 508. He served as a director and secretary of the Farmers Bank in Butler, and as president of the Butler Cemetery Association. One of his colleagues in the postal service called him "one of the grandest characters Pendleton County ever produced."⁶

Harry Howard Yelton died on 21 September 1947 in Booth Memorial Hospital, Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky.² He was buried in Butler Cemetery, Pendleton County, Kentucky, on 24 September 1947.²

Orpha Yelton Howe, 87, of Alexandria, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.

She worked in the office of her husband, longtime Alexandria physician Dr. Allie Howe, who died in 1987. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, Alexandria, and Alexandria Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 158.

Survivors include a sister, Naomi R. Whitaker of Fairfax, Va; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery.

     Blanche Almira Yelton was born on 20 July 1906 in Alexandria, Kentucky.^3,2 She was the daughter of William Edwin Yelton and Elizabeth Wheeler.^1,2 Elmira Yelton, age 13 was listed as a daughter of William E. Yelton, age 35 in the 1920 Census of Boone County, Kentucky.³ Blanche Almira Yelton never married.² She graduated from Milan High School in 1923, and worked for Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. for 47 years. She was a member of Christ United methodist Church and a 75 year member of Eastern Star. A special memory of one of her nephews is going with "Aunt Al" to decorate the graves of family and friends each year before Memorial Day.²

Blanche Almira Yelton died on 20 July 2005 at Gentle Care Nursing Center, Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana.² She was buried at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Dearborn County, Indiana, on 25 July 2005.²

     Elizabeth Yelton was born circa 1908 in Kentucky.² She was the daughter of William Edwin Yelton and Elizabeth Wheeler.¹ Elizabeth Yelton, age 11 was listed as a daughter of William E. Yelton, age 35 in the 1920 Census of Boone County, Kentucky.²

Elizabeth Yelton married Maynard Matson on 9 August 1958 in Campbell County, Kentucky.^3,1

Elizabeth Yelton died before 1995.⁴

     Richard Yelton was born on 7 February 1912 in Campbell County, Kentucky.² He was the son of William Edwin Yelton and Elizabeth Wheeler.^1,2 Richard J. Yelton, age 9 was listed as a son of William E. Yelton, age 35 in the 1920 Census of Boone County, Kentucky.³ Richard Yelton, age 18 was listed as a son of William E. Yelton, age 46 in the 1930 Census of Boone County, Kentucky.⁴

Richard Yelton married Mary Huff on 2 February 1933 in Campbell County, Kentucky.^1,5

     Mary Lou Yelton is the daughter of William Edwin Yelton and Elizabeth Wheeler.¹ Mary Lou Yelton married Virgil Mendell.¹

Yelton, age 35 in the 1920 Census of Boone County, Kentucky.² Lewis E. Yelton, age 11 was listed as a son of William E. Yelton, age 46 in the 1930 Census of Boone County, Kentucky.³

Louis E. Yelton married Ada Mae Kaiser on 30 September 1947 in Campbell County, Kentucky.^1,4,5 At the time of his death, Louis E. Yelton resided at in Aurora, Dearborn County, Indiana.⁶ He and Ada Mae Kaiser had no children.⁵

Louis E. Yelton died on 21 April 1996.⁶
