Yelton, age 36, in the 1870 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁴ Elmen Yelton, age 13 was listed as a son of Thomas Yelton, age 45, in the 1880 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁵ Elmon Yelton, age 33 was listed as a son of Thomas Yelton, age 65 in the 1900 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.³

     Elmon Pope Yelton died on 19 December 1945 in Butler, Pendleton County, Kentucky, at age 78. He was survived by his wife, Nora (Barton) Yelton.¹ Elmon Pope Yelton was buried in Butler Cemetery, Pendleton County, Kentucky, on 21 December 1945.¹⁰

     Nora Barton was born on 26 July 1878 in Kentucky Thomas M. Barton and Mary Jane Beckett.^1,2

Nora Barton married Elmon Pope Yelton, son of Thomas Jefferson Yelton and Mary Jane Williams, on 30 April 1902 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.^3,4 Nora Yelton, age 31 was listed as the wife of Elmond Yelton, age 43 in the 1910 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁵ Nora B. Yelton, age 41 was listed as the wife of Elmon P. Yelton, age 52 in the 1920 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁶ Nora L. Yelton, age 51 was listed as the wife of Elmon P. Yelton, age 63 in the 1930 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁷ Nora survived the death of her husband, Elmon Pope Yelton on 19 December 1945.³

Nora Barton died on 7 April 1967 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁸
