Brandon, age 23 appears in the 1900 Census of Uinta County, Wyoming in the household of H[iram?] Brown as a boarder.³ In 1900 Ray Fowler Brandon was a laborer.³

Ray Fowler Brandon married Jeanne Russell Alford, daughter of John Alford and Margaret Russell Anderson, circa 1907.^5,1,6 Ray and Jeanne Brandon formed a theatrical touring group, the Jeanne Russell Company, that, according to Boris Karloff, gave him his first acting job circa 1911. Greg Nesteroff, a local historian in British Columbia, has recently published an article on Boris Karloff and the Jeanne Russell Company, and is working on a Brandon-Russell biography.⁶ In 1918 Ray Fowler Brandon and Jeanne Russell (Alford) Brandon lived in Riverside Park, Phoenix, Arizona.² Ray registered for the World War I draft on 12 September 1918 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. He identified his nearest relative as Mrs. Jeanne R. Brandon.²

Ray Brandon, age 43 was listed as a head of household in the 1920 Census of Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. All of the appropriate information for his wife is there (age, place of birth, etc.), except her name, which is blank. She does not appear with her mother in Salt Lake City, either.⁷ In 1920 Ray Fowler Brandon was the manager of a theatre.⁷

Ray Fowler Brandon died on 6 August 1933 near Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon.^6,10 He was buried in San Francisco National Cemetery, Section C, Site 574, San Francisco, California, on 10 August 1933.¹¹

     Walter Lee Brandon was born on 28 July 1878 in Centerville, Davis County, Utah.^2,3 He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Brandon and Mary Margaret Cherry.¹

Moler circa 1917.^1,4 In 1918 Walter Lee Brandon lived in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.² Walter registered for the World War I draft on 12 September 1918 in Davis County, Utah. He named his mother as his nearest relative, which suggests that he was not married at the time.² In 1918 Walter Lee Brandon was a self-employed theatrical manager.²

Lee Brandon, age 41 was listed as a head of household in the 1920 Census of Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. Also living in the house was his wife, Lizzie Brandon, age 50.⁵ In 1920 Walter Lee Brandon was the manager of a theater.⁵ Lee W. Brandon, age 49, was listed as the brother of Ray F. Brandon, age 51, in the 1930 Census of San Francisco, San Francisco County, California.⁴ In 1930 Walter Lee Brandon was the treasurer of a carnival.⁴

Walter Lee Brandon died on 3 February 1959 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.^6,3

The census states that she has been married for 3 years, but has had no children..³ In 1910 Jeanne Brandon was an actress with her own company.³ In 1918 Jeanne Russell (Alford) Brandon and Ray Fowler Brandon lived in Riverside Park, Phoenix, Arizona.⁶
