The marriage license gives the names of Brady's parents as "don't know." I suppose her husband didn't know, but surely she did??2 In 1930 John S. Keeter was a mechanic in a cotton mill.3 He was listed as the head of a household in the 1930 Census of Forest City, Rutherford County, North Carolina. The household also included his wife, Brady S. Keeter, age 33, his son, Cicil J. Keeter, age 6.4 John S. Keeter died on 28 January 1938.1 He was buried in Cool Spring Cemetery, Sec. 7, Rutherford County, North Carolina.1
