Correction to Garretson lineage: Lysbeth HENDRIKSEN, widow of Garret JANSEN, had two verifiable sons; Hendrik and Poul, and one likely son, Jan GARRETSON, all of New Amstel 1662-1730s. Hendrik had a son, Garret GARRETSON, who had a son John GARRETSON, whose name was anglicized in NC to GARRISON (1768-1779) Jan' sons became Quakers and migrated to Canawango Valley, PA by 1750.
